Women’s Rights

Women’s rights refer to the legal, social, and economic rights and privileges that are afforded to women. This concept encompasses a range of issues aimed at achieving equality between genders, including the right to vote, access to education, reproductive rights, equal pay for equal work, and protection from gender-based violence and discrimination. Women’s rights also advocate for the ability of women to participate fully and equally in society and to make choices regarding their own lives and bodies. The movement for women’s rights seeks to address historical and systemic inequalities that have marginalized women and aims to promote gender equity in all aspects of life.
